The project, involving six consortium partners, is co-funded by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation and the European Union – NextGenerationEU.

At the end of 2022, the Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Mechanics joined a consortium of six public research institutions with the aim of applying to the Public Call for Strengthening Project Offices in Public Research Organizations to obtain funding from the Recovery and Resilience Mechanism.

The call was published by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, and is co-financed by the ministry and the European Union – NextGenerationEU. With the successful submission of the project titled Expanding Horizons Ambitiously and Dynamically with the Support of Project Offices (ROAD3P), the consortium secured funding for the establishment of project offices.

The ROAD3P consortium consists of the following public research institutions:

• Slovenian National Building and Civil Engineering Institute,
• Institute for Ethnic Studies,
• Urban Planning Institute of the Republic of Slovenia,
• Institute for Economic Research,
• Hydraulic Research Institute,
• Institute of Mathematics, Physics and Mechanics.

Project implementation period: April 19, 2023 – June 30, 2026
