POSTDOCTORAL RESEARCHER
We are announcing three positions for the job of Assistant with a Doctorate degree.
One position is available at the Department of Theoretical Computer Science in the area of Computationally intensive methods in theoretical computer science, discrete mathematics, combinatorial optimization, and numerical analysis and algebra with applications in natural and social sciences (code P1-0294).
Two positions are available at the Department of Mathematics, each in one of the following areas:
- Algebra, operator theory and financial mathematics (code P1-0222)
- Algebra, discrete mathematics, probability and game theory (code P1-0285)
- Algebra and its applications (code P1-0288)
- Analysis and geometry (code P1-0291)
- Topology and its applications (code P1-0292)
- Graph theory (code P1-0297)

Job Description:
- conducting scientific research in accordance with legislation in the field of scientific research and innovation activities,
- publishing professional and scientific articles,
- preparing project proposals.
Required education and title:
- completed Doctorate degree,
- appointment to the title of Assistant with a Doctorate degree.
The condition for appointment to the title must be fulfilled no later than the day of signing the employment contract.
We expect that the candidate:
- is able to conduct research work and independently lead smaller projects,
- will publish research papers,
- is fluent in English.
