A mathematician who is not also something of a poet will never be a complete mathematician.
Karl WeierstrassMathematical Library
Mathematical Library of the Department of Mathematics of Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, University of Ljubljana, was established in 1960 by merging the Mathematical Seminar Library at the Phylosophical Faculty and the Library of the Institute for Applied Mathematics at the Technical Faculty, University of Ljubljana. Each of the two libraries had a small number of books and journals at that time. The merged library was first located in the corridors of the central university building. Until now the number of books and journals increased to more than 50.000 library units. The library has one of the biggest collections of mathematical journals in the Middle Europe. Since 1963 a large part of financial support for the library is due to IMFM. The Mathematical Library catalogue is available at COBISS.
