Research departments

The research at the Institute is performed by different research departments. Each of them consists of scientists and researchers that work on the problems from the scientific fields mentioned in their descriptions.

Department of Mathematics

Fields: complex analysis, functional analysis, topology, numerical methods, algebra, graph theory, probability, statistics, logics.

Department of Theoretical Computer Science

Fields: algorithms, optimization, combinatorics, operation research, graph theory, discrete mathematics, computer assisted mathematics, applied mathematics, numerical methods, computer genealogy and heraldry, chemical graph theory, e-learning

Department of Physics

Fields: nuclear magnetism, NQR, NMR, phase transitions, electronic magnetism, SQUID magnetomers, molecular magnets, magnetic properties of materials, biomagnetism, electro-physiological research on a cellular level
